HOt tubbing, while watching your butch snowboard on the hills........
Yes, cattitude, there is a reason for snow! So the next time you wake up to a winter wonderland get your snow suit on and find a shovel and a bucket and get building! If you want to be in that summer mind set think of sand castles! I love building things, but it's hard to find places to store your art, so snow solves that problem because of it's impermanence.
Snow forts!!! and beautiful frozen landscapes.
The best part of winter is taking off my coat and sweaters and hat and gloves and drinking something hot :)
artmuse... snow sculptures! sounds awesome!!!
what?? a reason for snow to exist!!
I might like it if snow falls this year just to try, thank you!
I get it. if you know someone so well to give such an creative description it can only mean one thing! you spent a lot of time paying attention to him then decided you could only handle it in a certain space and time. my guess is that the two of you at a party would be a competition, whoever got started first would have everyone's attention! so why aren't you that famous? shy? cause you have got the gift of.. could I call it rant? story telling with an edge! have you tickets for the live show?
no, no, i'm just jealous of him. i wish i was that funny and successful. seriously. i like the guy and i HATE it. blah.
yup, sate, the very same guy! excellent description, so I gather you are on the like him side! he he
stuart... well... let's just say if i met him at a party, i wouldn't ask him how he's doing or employ any other polite annotation because i wouldn't want to risk being answered by stuart mclean in stuart mclean style ie. subjected to yet another story which has a climax involving some sort of wholesome revelation about relationships delivered deadpan by quirky old people that takes a frikken hour to perform/articulate/profess/bleat. unless someone was bringing me drinks the whole time, ok, but imagine if you were down the the last like quarter of a bottle/glass of whatever at the BEGINNING of a stuart-atical. y'know, you're at a party, you're like wow, that's stuart mclean, so you introduce yourself, and you POLITELY ask how his weekend is unfolding an whammo! an hour later, the party is over, you're crazy-ass sober despite the presence of an open bar, and you didn't get interrupted by vicki gabereau even once. lame. anyway, hopefully we are talking about the same guy.
sate.
Making snow sculptures, and I'm not talking about snowmen, I build giant snow horses and polar bears, and write messages in fields.
I also love getting together with out of town friends and family.
snowshoes and walking the pup.

Ummmm snow ball making....skating...hockey....snuggling.
Crap. I'm in trouble now, aren't I. Please be gentle.
I sure hope that this question doesn't last as long as the last one... I'm getting bored. Is anyone else?
I like to receive massages and go to vegas and hawaii would you like me to take you with me and you can massage me too? Yes who? yeah
my favourite winter activities are acting like it's summer!
shorts, t-shirt havin a bike ride and complaining about the heat!
splashing in puddles!
sate! are you a hater or lover of Stuart McLean? People are polarised when it comes to him!
Everything I love the snow! I am always down for crazy carpetting down hills and such...none of those fancy sleds just good ol' 99cent crazy carpets. I love walking the seawall in the snow and smashing the icicles that fall from the rock faces....I also enjoying making snow angels or running around outside in the snow in a tshirt and ridiculous short shorts =P Anything snow related and I'm in loveeeee
snowshoeing, wearing toques, going for walks when it's freezing out but your so bundled that you only feel the cold on your face :o), holiday baking
listening to cbc radio. it is more cozy in the winter.
Honestly, i would love to say that it is snowboarding- but i can't be apart of that crew, i am so clutzy that something always happens! So after falling off a chairlift and wiping out into a fence i've decided ill keep that love at bay and instead cuddle up inside and enjoy hot drinks, cold drinks and great company in the warmth! but i havent compeltely written off snow sports, I still make an appearance at the hills and then the emergency room haha
making snow angels
I like to walk in the rain in Vancouver's winter and take note of the new life already beginning to sprout from the wet earth at the end of December. If one slows down to notice it, Spring begins here before the rest of the country is really settled into Winter.
Playing with the dog in the snow...and if by chance I find that girl, then ya, cuddling up would be nice, cause it definately gets chilly out there.
Sitting on the beach in Ixtapa
Snowshoeing, ice biking and watching the dog play in the snow. Slowly sipping mulled beer in front of the fireplace ranks highly as well, although I've yet to find a suitable brew for this in Canada.
Tobogganing, building snowpeople (Calvin
Figure skating, snowmobiling, building snowpeople, walking in the snow, baking xmas treats, spending time with friends and family!
I think it's hilarious to people watch during the winter season especially. Sliding all over the place, bumping cars into one another...cussin' at who's fault it is when really they know it's their own.
But, um...personally? My favorite is watching all the cuties come out all bundled up in their winter wear. You know the ones. Little snow bunnies dressed perfectly in their matching and color coordinated parkas, mitties, toques and scarves. Their parkas typically are for the spring, not for -20 ----but they don't want to look 'fat'. Their scarves are draggin' along behind them in the slush, and their toques barely cover their melon. The only thing they got goin' on that's practical, is their mittens. Let's not mention how much time they spent on their ringlets or the amount of hairspray it took to get it to stay that way....then their hair goes to shit within minutes. Oh, how lovely the winterland can be. I think I had better just stick to the fruity smelling lipgloss and mascara, Sorels, and the 'abominable snowman look'.
My favorite winter activity honestly... as lame as it might sound. Cuddling up with someone inside, watching a scary movie while drinking hot chocolate under a cozy comforter.
Pretty sure the greatest things to do in winter is build a snow fort and hide from you dog, and see how he reacts. Ha ha nothing more cute than a dog hoppin in the snow because they don't know what to do with it. Also ice skating is pretty good.. but nothing beats the good ol' sleddin down a huge hill and not wanting to walk back up, am i right or am i right?
I love taking a walk in the snow. I hate driving in it though..it scares the hell out of me..getting better at it though!
My fav winter activity is going out onto my back balcony during the 1st snow with a blanket and a cup of hot coco, w/whiskey and Baily's in it and just sitting in a char watching it fall all bundled.... :-)
