In my own words: I'm a bisexual who came out of the closet last year. Nine times out of ten I find women attractive over men. I haven't dated a female yet, but I would like to. What I would really like is to find some LGBT friends in my area.
My faith is Christian. I believe that certain verses have been misinterpreted to suit the moral code of the translators. A website that really helped me was http://www.religioustolerance.org/hom_bibl.htm I also have a New Testament LGBT study bible.
Although I believe it's important to vote, I try to stay out of politics as much as possible. I'm a Lacto-ovo vegetarian (I eat honey, dairy products and free run eggs). The only time I break the rule is if it jeopardizes my health (a lot of drugs contain gelatin) or there is no other alternative. I understand that animal farms are important; I have a cat and I love her like my own, and as cats are carnivores, I buy and feed her meat products.
I'm not a tree-hugger (most people envision hippies when they hear the word vegetarian). I recycle my drink containers and carry reusable shopping bags, but that's about it.
I don't smoke. With the recent invention of the E-cigarette I think I would be comfortable dating someone who used those, but not traditional cigarettes.
I love animals, cats especially, but I have a hard loving rodents, spiders, scorpions, and fish. Rodents are incontinent, spiders give me the creeps, scorpions can kill you, and fish you can't hug.
I'm close to my family because we immigrated to Canada from Britain and I have no extended family in Canada, except through my sister's husband. I've spent over half my life in Canada and haven't been back to Britain (or out of Alberta even) since 2000.
I find all types of women attract me from femme to tomboy, black, white, native, latino, asian--women are just beautiful!

As I said earlier I love animals (most anyway) and I love computers and software. I have a macbook and vm ware to let me have windows run simultaneously with my mac. I've always thought it'd be cool if I could speak another language fluently so I'm trying to learn Esperanto on the net. I'm definitely not fluent, but I know more of it than I do French.
