Things are going to get fabulously nasty as the Gay Mafia is thrown
into turmoil as The Don announces his intent to step down. The Gay
Mafia is a wildly fun and unpredictable comedy play that skewers gay
stereotypes while it celebrates them.
Popular improvisational artist and comedic actor (Vancouver
TheatreSports & Urban Improv) Pearce Visser plays the Don and every
performance features a different collection of 9 members of the Bob
Loblaw Queer Comedy Troupe playing outrageous over the top pretenders
to the throne. Who will be the new head to be on top of the Gay Mafia;
the High school Gym Teacher, the Gay Cowboy, the Lipstick Lesbian, the
Leather Guy, the Drag Queen, the Closeted TV Actor, the Diesel Dyke, or
the Party Twink? Only a battle of wits and timing will determine the

Queerly Canadian Theatre series at The Waterfront Theatre this spring,
It will be running late night after the productions of Hosanna by
Michel Tremblay and Poor Super Man by Brad Fraser, both produced by The
Saving Metropolis Equity Co-op.
Bob Loblaw Queer Comedy Troupe has performed and raised a lot of money
for various local charities and this production is no different. Three
nights have been set aside as fundraisers.

Bob Loblaw Queer Comedy Troupe presents The Gay Mafia directed by David
C. Jones and starring Pearce Visser. The late night comedy hit will run
February 28th through March 16th and will be Fridays and Saturdays at
10:30pm at The Waterfront Theatre on Granville Island as part of the
