Friday August 6, 2010 The Annual Queer West Arts Festival is rebranding its identity. Queer West Fest Week will run from Friday August 6 to Sunday August 15, 2010. Here are some of the events we are booking and organizing now: A juried youth photo exhibition, another spoken word night, 6th annual Gay West Bicycle Club Pride Ride. ShOUT Fiction Slam, a dance party with 6 djs (New Adobe Club on Peter St.), a repeat of Womyns music folk/blues night (2009), the 3rd annual Film Fest, an outdoor park picnic with ShOUT and one or two art shows. Festival Callout: Artist & artwork, 6 DJs, 5 women (blues/folk/jazz/indy) singers/musicians, bands, youth photographers, poets, spoken word artists and fiction authors and of course submissions for film festival.
