Who are the artists?
Alexis Finch is a music/ fashion/ portrait photographer based out of Toronto. Finch has photographed an impressive list of celebrities and musicians. In addition to her editorial work with Sway magazine, she has led photography workshops for young people of colour and youth in high-needs neighbourhoods since 2004.

Ashley Mckenzie-Barnes has made a mark on the Toronto art scene with her bold and creative images. MacKenzie-Barnes specializes in a striking and unique abstract self-portrait style, and her latest showcased series, “Portrait” and “Femme Fatale” has highlighted the artist as a trailblazer in her creative career. Her passion for art was recognized at a very young age, and her art education thus began early. She subsequently majored in visual arts at Cardinal Center for the Academy Arts, and went on to receive certificates in Graphic Design/Advertising. Currently, she is a member of an African-Canadian and Caribbean Diaspora artist collective, Sixahwi

Kalmplex is a DJ/MC, photo/video visual artist and Kreative Warrior. Born and raised in Toronto, with Jamaican and Ghanian roots, she is a truly eclectic artist drawing inspiration from just about everything and everyone with whom she comes into contact. Performing at various events and venues throughout the city, and featured numerous times in the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star and Snap Photography Toronto, Kalmplex is currently working on various musical and photo endeavours.
