Rainbow Resource Centre and aceartinc. have teamed up with a group of queer youth from Winnipeg to engage in an artistic and creative exploration of culture, society and self. The RRaCe participants have worked closely with each exhibiting artist at aceartinc. since August 2009 and will be exhibiting their thought-provoking work on June 3rd. Join us for light refreshments, good beats by DJ Fleur and an opportunity to engage with the young artists themselves.
The ceremonial kick-off to Winnipeg Pride. This is the only time the Rainbow Flag flies above city hall and it's a sight to be seen. Don't miss out!

For the first time ever Winnipeg is having a DYKE MARCH! The route is from the park at Young and Broadway to Memorial Park. You can bring yourselves, or signs, or whatever you see fit. We can end the march by just chilling in the park, playing frisbee, mingling etc. Since this is short notice, there is not time to have the march on the street, but we will be going down the sidewalks.
This is not a parade. It is a political demonstration to show our strength as a community. Try to be there around 4 and we will leave by 4:30 at the latest. The park fun can go until whenever.
You don't have to identify as a dyke to participate. We also welcome anyone who is lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, genderqueer, two-spirit, trans, all of the above, none of the above, or label-less. Allies of all kinds are ALWAYS welcome and encouraged!
