Umm, where did you leave
off?
OK, sorry if this is long, but here's the synopsis. I just
don't want you to go to the site to read it. Some cruel person also
put the synopsis for episode three there and I coulldn't help but
read it! Don't ruin the surprise for yourself! It's quite
something!
K here it is.:
Now a proud club owner, Brian
(GALE HAROLD) has re-opened Babylon. The lights go up and the
thumpa-thumpa starts, but where are all the party boys? The fickle
fags of Pittsburgh have moved on to another club. And Babylon isn't
the only thing gone belly up. The studio pulled the plug on "Rage" and
Justin (RANDY HARRISON) has returned from Hollywood. Justin tells the
gang that Hollywood was a disappointment, but alone with Brian he
admits that it was fun and exciting. He knows Pittsburgh still has one
thing Hollywood doesn'tÑBrian.
As Brian tries to revive the
heart of Liberty Avenue, Michael (HAL SPARKS) says goodbye to it. He
and Ben (ROBERT GANT) sign the papers for a new home away from Liberty
Avenue. Now that Lindsay (THEA GILL) and Melanie (MICHELLE CLUNIE)
have split up, Michael decides to pursue shared custody of their
daughter. Thinking he can provide a more stable environment for her,
Michael hires a lawyer and plans to get fifty percent custody.
Lindsay, who is not a biological parent, fears that legally she can be
completely left out. She asks Brian to talk to Michael to try and get
him to back down. He does, but it only makes Michael angry that Brian
chooses to defend Lindsay's position instead of his. It's clear that
Michael and Brian have very different ideas of what being a gay adult
means.
Debbie (SHARON GLESS) is offended when Michael dismisses
the lesbians raising Jenny Rebecca as single mothers. She reminds
Michael that a single mother raised him. Later, Debbie visits her
granddaughter at Melanie's. She suggests that they all reconsider
their selfish behavior and put the baby's needs first. Melanie
misinterprets her conversation with Debbie and later tells Michael
that his mother is on her side.
Emmett (PETER PAIGE) puts
together the perfect wedding for a local news producer and his overly
demanding bride-to-be. When she spills red wine on her wedding outfit,
Emmett's fast thinking and fairy magic turns a potential disaster
into a stunning work of art. Having witnessed Emmett's "queer" savvy,
the news producer invites Emmett to host a segment offering the gay
perspective. Emmett becomes Pittsburgh's new "Queer Guy".
Ted
(SCOTT LOWELL) has recoiled from romance after his last boy toy turned
out to be a chubby chaser. Determined to ignite a hot new look for
himself, he bleaches his hair and adopts a "club" look. But he winds
up looking like an old queen trying too hard to be young again. At the
end of his self-esteem rope, Ted makes an appointment with a plastic
surgeon

I don't, normally.
But Queer As Folk is a
personal favourite, and it's different - it's good stuff!
I
wouldn't go outta my way to get cable just to watch it, and I
haven't bought any DVD's or anything, but it's a damn good show.

I'm going to watch it - I don't have cable, or a
working VCR, but somehow, some way, I WILL be watching Queer As
Folk!!!!
That show kicks MAJOR ass!!!
How can you NOT be
into it? Did you totally miss the last season? Helloooooooooo,
Lindsay and Melanie's relationship is totally on the rocks, and it's
so bad for them, and they're having their second kid!
OMFG!!!
That, and Brian is my idol. Seriously. Of any queer
characters on tv, my favourite is Brian, by far.

The fifth and final season of QAF starts May 23 on
Showcase.
Does anyone give a hoot?
I`ll try
watching the season but my attention span has died over the past few
seasons. Lets hope the show goes out with a bang.
