It’s time to gather your towel and sandals and come bust a sweat with us as we celebrate the springiness of Spring!. Come naked, nude, wrapped in a towel, wearing your swimsuit, jean shorts and Tshirt, or rubber bondage gear! (eg. We don’t care what you wear.) If the last few years are any measure, expect there to be plenty of hot times, and lots of hawt women of all shapes, all sizes, all colours and sexual orientations.
We’ve rented over 2000 square feet of privacy for us all to sweat, play, shower, fuck, talk, and laugh. The space contains a video area (who’s got great dyke porn?), 25 lockers, two large dry saunas (hot and hotter), two large shower rooms (ever eat melon in a shower?), and 6 semi-private areas with cots.
Do it clean and sweaty, or make it mild to wild – there’s lots of room and anything goes! This ain’t no ladies spa though. It’s grotty and rugged and perfect! Flip flops, sandals, combat boots or other footwear encouraged. Don’t forget your towel (and maybe some old sheets if you think you’ll need ‘em for back-up)!
THE SPACE
This space is, unfortunately, not wheelchair accessible. Entry to the building is at street level. The event takes place in the basement down a long, narrow set of stairs.

Due to the nature of this event, we retain the right to refuse anyone entry for our own reasons.
Space is limited to 60 guests so get there early to avoid disappointment!
We’re covering our costs for the space rental, free beverages and free snacks by selling tickets — $20 per person at the door while they last.

Some funds go to support Elaine's upcoming trip to Newfoundland, and some to the Catherine White Holman Memorial Fund.

For those starting on the East Side (Oh, the joys of the queer-women
biker gang run through the heart of the city...) Commercial and 3rd Ave.
Between 10 & 10:30 arrival, leave the east end for the west end at 11 am.
Parade starts at Robson and Thurlow this year!

Go to the head of the parade. No paperwork required.

Parade Guidelines:
Wear your helmet to travel to the parade start, but *you* choose whether
to wear it during the parade. Often a float vehicle hear the front will
volunteer some space to hold your lids while en route.
Keep it slow, both on the turns and the long straightaways! Fast riding
scares the moms with toddlers sitting on the curb, and some of our
riders have less experience than you do, hotdogger. And the cops can get damn snarky at high-speed riding. Also, you want everyone to be able to see your sexy self on your hot machine -- not just a blur with a bug-spattered grin.

Call for Readers/Submissions: QUEEROTICA 2008
This is a call for writers/readers/performers of queer erotic literature (and written filthy smut and porn) to read at Queerotica, a "collective fundraiser" (to pay you, the local queer writers who read porn at this event) on July 30th, 2008 during Pride week in Vancouver.
What I'm Looking For:
Writers who are willing -- nay, eager -- to read or recite their own pieces of queer erotica/porn/smut.
Erotica must be queer-themed, which includes gay, lesbian, bi, and all flavours of queer transgender.
I'd love to see raunchy, transgressive, smokin' hot porn. I'd love erotica featuring queers of all different races, sizes, ages and abilities. I'd like to see intelligent, contemporary, mind-bending porn that leaves the listener hot, wet, hard, or dizzy. I'd like to see clever erotica that makes us laugh and sigh and smile knowingly at our lover. I'll even look at poetry!
Restrictions (the usual suspects): no children, animals, former food, or former people.

I'm thrilled about helping put on a two day event, because I so often go to a party, and have so much fun -- and suddenly it ends. (What? It's 1am already?)
This way, we get that second chance. 'Coming to the sauna tomorrow? Yeah, Want me to pick you up for dinner before we go?'
Like that. Yeah!
And gawd bless Craigslist for when you need 4 more wee tables for safer sex and cleaning supplies. I found an ad, emailed a reply, got a phone call back, and was on my way to pick up my extra tables all in the space of an afternoon. And got 'em all for $10 total! (Sorry, can't help getting all excited.)

Some more volunteers are needed for Vancouver's premier women's-and-trans-guy-friendly-kinky-play-party in August!
Can you:
* put up posters on Commerical Drive or Davie Street in the next two weeks (starting Friday July 13)?
* help set up on the day 2-4pm Saturday August 4?
* do one of a variety of tasks on the night - security, concession, door, clean up?
* take equipment down and clean up the venue on Tuesday 7th at 11.30am?
All volunteers receive free entry to the party, a free drink, general adoration and a caning from Elaine if requested!
